Direct Spaces Release Notes 1.13
To ensure your users are benefiting from the newest features, enhancements, and fixes, EMS Software recommends that you upgrade to the most current release of your EMS product.
You now need the .NET Framework 4.8 on the application server.
You only need the latest downloads for any component since they are cumulative.

New Features
If you have the Approval role on the everyday user security template, you can now approve bookings in the following ways:

Approvals widget on the dashboard screen.

Filter and view bookings with the Approvals button.
To enable this feature, contact your account manager or Professional Services consultant.
Enhancements
For new users, we streamlined the onboarding experience. (Application version 2.7.0)
We removed the Settings & Support Assistant and relocated its settings to your profile. With this change, you can manage your app data all in one place.
We’re also excited to introduce several new Profile enhancements:

Change your profile photo

Assistants – Logout, remove, add new assistants, and get help.

Notifications – Use the toggle to turn Receive notifications on or off.

View trash – You can view or restore conversations in the trash.

Reset – Use the toggle to do the following at one time on the same screen:

Archive conversations

Logout of all assistants
-
Reset localization settings
-
Unregister device
-

About – View information about your software version.
On the Direct Spaces dashboard screen widget, you can remove the following buttons through an environment configuration:

Browse People
-
Browse Location
-
Manage Favorites
-
Act as Another User
-
Approvals
To remove one or more of these buttons, contact your account manager or Professional Services consultant.
When you create a new booking, the building field will not show unless a building default was set.
When you edit an existing booking, a confirmation appears for each change.
In Browse Locations, first filter by buildings to show available rooms.
Improvements & Issues Fixed

When you create a new booking, Add room using a QR code will not show as an option if you have QR codes disabled for your environment.

When acting as another user, you will no longer receive an error when you view My Upcoming Schedule. (Hot Fix 1.12.1)

In Browse People, the floor plan indicator pins appear at their intended location. For best results, we recommend a floorplan image size of 1024x 768 pixels. (Hot Fix 1.12.2)

When updating a booking, you can choose another room. (Hot Fix 1.12.3)
